About ASTM Committee D37

The ASTM International Committee D37 on Cannabis is a nexus of industry leaders, having rolled out over 50 standards with many more on the horizon. Globally, labs trust ASTM International. Our 50+ proficiency testing programs, curated by subject-matter experts, are your ticket to industry dominance.

D37 members include a balanced cross section of the cannabis industry. Our volunteer members hail from over 30 countries and include representatives of key advocacy groups such as the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp, the National Research Council of Canada, Health Canada, and U.S. Pharmacopeia. Anyone with an interest in any aspect of the industry is welcome to join and directly contribute to important safety standards.

D37 has 9 technical subcommittees to develop and maintain standards. The Committee, with a membership of 900 members from 30 countries, has its standards published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 15.10.
